When you have a viable group and wish to join the Julian Meeting Network you can register your meeting by completing a registration form. Registration costs £6 a year, which covers the cost of the Magazine and Newsletter and of the database, website, publicity and Advisory Group expenses.
Every registered Meeting automatically receives the Magazine and Newsletter in April, August and December, to keep members aware of the wider JM network and encourage their contemplative prayer life. Regardless of the time of year that a new meeting registers they will receive all three issues of the magazine.
In order to register you must first decide on a name for your group if you have not already done so. Names are usually the place (town or village) where groups meet. Then find a person who is prepared to be the Contact for your group; someone to whom we can refer enquires for more information about your meeting. Increasingly people make enquiries via e-mail and so an e-mail address as well as a telephone number is useful. Please also provide a second person as an alternate contact in case for some reason we lose touch with you. When moving house, or if illness or tragedy strikes, informing us of changes is easily overlooked.
The form to register a meeting can be found here
The information you provide will be held on our data base and only used to
- Mail the magazine and newsletter to you
- Mail information to you or keep in touch with your Julian Meeting
- Provide contact details for those looking for a Julian Meeting in your area
- Provide contact details for other Julian Meetings in your region, wishing to organise a joint event
Individual members may also register in their own right and receive their own copy of the magazine. They will receive personal subscription renewal forms each December.
There is a form for an individual subscription to the magazine here.
